Rolling Stone Salutes Rock Star Dads

I moseyed on over to Rolling Stone.com yesterday to view the photo gallery of rock star dads with their children. It was very interesting because we don't normally see them as being dads. One photo of Hank Williams and children dated all the way back to the 40s. I was unfamiliar with a few of the dads pictured there but all of the photos were great. It helped me to see them in a whole new light. So, who would you not think of in a fatherly way?

I guess I wonder about James Stewart and some of the old era stars. I was impressed by the rocker from Kiss who has the Family Jewels show on cable. He is really a pretty good dad. My dad will always be a bit of a mystery since I didn't know him all that well in my later years. Such an important part of a girls life. I hope the military dads get some calls in on their day.
