What do you take along in your carry-on ? |
| |
| I travel quite often to places in my country and overseas. Some of the flights I have to take are quite long , some flights ten hours non-stop. So, I have to make sure that I take along a few things in my carry-on baggage. One thing I have to have is my laptop computer so that I could continue working on my business papers. The other essential things I have to have are medicaments I take every day. How about you myLot friends ? What do you take along in your carry-on ? | | | | | |

| | I take a lot in my carry-on, usually a backpack or duffel bag. The obvious essentials (for me) would be my iPod Touch, cell phone, wallet, and tylenol. I also bring along a book to read while waiting for the plane, and usually a bunch of food so I don't have to buy anything overpriced at the airport. On long flights and when I'm connecting through different airports, I always keep an extra pair of clothes and backup necessities (toothbrush, contact case, etc.) in case something happens to my luggage and it is delayed in arriving. | | | | | | |

| | It has been ten years since I last traveled anywhere. I still like to travel but as I've said before, I can't afford it these days. The things I usually put in carry-on would be my eye drops, makeup, hairbrush or comb, something to read, breath mints. That's all I can think of but those are the main items. Kathy. | | | | | | |

| | I forgot to mention that I would put whatever medications I might need in carry-on, too. Kathy. | | | |

| | I usually have the essentials and a day or two batch of clothes. Because I travelled once a few years ago and my luggage was mistakenly left at the country were we stopped over. So I had to wait for a day for the airline to ship it to my doorstep. Good thing I had some extra clothes to change in. I think it is better to always be prepared, especially in cases like these or when your airline is delayed. | | | | | | |

| | Hey greenline! It's been so many years since I travelled! I haven't travelled since before 9/11! In fact, I am getting ready to go to Florida to see my mother and I have no idea actually about all the rules and changes! I do know some of them, but am not totally clear on everything. I know that now there are alot of things that are not allowed to be in carry-on baggage and I do hope that I remember what not to bring! I know it is kind of silly probably to you who travels on those long overseas flights all the time and I'm only going on a 3 hours flight! I am not a good flier either! I am quite scared! That is one of the reasons that I haven't flown! I hate being on a plane and avoid it like the plague, but haven't seen my mother in 10 years so it's time! | | | | | | |

| | The very first thing (and only important) are my meds. Then I take along something light to read, clothes to change if I go to a place where they have different weather. I only travel for pleasure so I would not take work. | | | | | | |

| | In my handbag I take my camera, memory cards and batteries. I like to have my sunglasses in a case. I have tissues as well. In my money belt I have my passport, tickets, money, debit card and travel insurance details. In my carry on bag I take my travel guide book, a magazine, a note book with a pen and a few snacks. Airport security has made sure that bottles of water are stopped at the security gate. That is a shame because bottle water at an airport can be pricey. I don't really like getting on a flight feeling thirsty. | | | | | | |
