Is there anyone like this in your family?

I know that there are all kinds of dysfunctional stuff going on in families everywhere. But, I was in shock when I realized what was going on here, and I asked my mom about it and she agrees it stupid, but she doesn't feel the need to really put a stop to it anyhow. What is it? My grandpa is paying my sisters 100 dollars a week! They are ages 14 and 18... what is he paying them for? Being pretty! I kid you not. If they dress in cute clothes and do their make up and hair he walks up to them and smiling tells them they are pretty and slips them money and tells them to go buy themselves some cigarettes with it! What! My uncle does it too, not really that much money, but my 18 year old sister was moping about a couple of years ago because she didn't have any cigarettes and he just slipped her 40 dollars and told her to go buy some. Not only that, he took her to the mall and bought her a ton of clothes, and bought her a cell phone. This is stupid. Now don't get me wrong, it would be nice to get money from my grandpa too, but I would hate to get money because he thinks I'm pretty! Ugg! Also, this gets to my sister's heads all the time because the prance around in rather revealing clothes all the time and tell me that if I were pretty like them I'd get money too! It's a downer, I must admit. But, I can't really say anything to any body about it because they would accuse me of being mad that I'm not pretty too. What a horrible thing to be going on. Is there any stupid stuff like this going on in your family?

My sisters all are prettier then i am but they dont get more of certain things then i do. we all get equal. im totaly jealous of them eigther because they all act really dumb and try to get by on all their looks alone at least i can get by using my brain something none of them have

Haha, yep, that's what I say. I also say that at least someone thinks I'm pretty because I do have 3 children! And then their response is that he is from the south and of course I looked good to him. Haha Oh well, honestly, it's not that they are prettier that bothers me... they are so stuck up about it that I wouldn't trade lives with them for the world! What bothers me is that this stuck up attitude is being fed and encouraged by my grandpa! That their is a unhidden favoritism going on here.

Yeah, its a bit weird too, but I wont touch on that because he must have his reasons. This is something that your mother or father should intervene with, I man you know if it was me and my dad and my kids. But so long as you dont let them make you feel bad, pretty girls are a dime a dozen, smart women are not so much.
