Do you add salt or any additive to fresh fruit?

No! I could never imagine why someone would want to add salt to fruit! In fact I have never heard of anyone doing it. Fruit and vegetables for me are fine alone, nothing needs to be added to them. I don't like GM foods either.

Only for fresh watermelon.
But not other fruit needs salt.
If a watermelon is not ripe when you
cut into it, you can fix the taste with
a sprinkle of salt

No, normally I prefer fruits the natural way. But to minimise the sourness of some fruits like guava, green mango i sprinkle little salt on it. diabiates patients are mostly advised to sprinkle salt on fruits like papaya, apple, water melon to reduce the sweetness of the fruit. Hence little salt does no harm to health.

well i do. but not always! when i'm eating green mango i usually put some salt on it to minimize its sour taste...
sometimes when i eat banana i put some powdered milk on it...
when i eat ripe papaya, i put some condensed milk...i like it that way!
but most of the time i eat fruits the way it is...

No, i prefer to eat the natural way. I feel it tastes nicer if we eat all the fruits by their natural taste. But, i had seen my sister like to add salt to the pineapple whenever she eat it. She said it makes pineapple taste nicer. As for me, i prefer to eat the natural taste of pineapple without the salt added in. Maybe it's different people have different preference in the choice of taste that they like. Besides that, it's more healthy to eat all the fruits the natural way...
