 I went out with my friend yesterday and she told me one of her friends is turning into a lesbian because her ex boyfriend made her heart broekn and she no longer trusts man anymore... We both thought it was kind of weird because she used to be so sweet and like a normal girl but she is becoming all weird and wants to go after girls... We don't understand it. What do you think about lesbian? Are you a lesbian? It seems like a weird dishere but I hope you guys won't mind and open up and talk about it. (No offence really)

I really don't know what they think and why they choose to be lesbian.

No one has a ping moment and decides to be anything, you are who you are. I am extremely open minded and although happily married for 5 years (together 11) with 2 children, I do consider myself bisexual. I am 100% satisfied and love my husband to death but hypothetically speaking, if we were at any chance to seperate I wouldn't rule out a relationship with a woman. I am not a Lesbian, but I have friends, and a cousin, who are, and they did not become Lesbians, they always were. They dated men to convince themselves that they were straight, but in fact, they have always been, and always were, Lesbians. A true Lesbian will never be attracted to men, and she will try to date men at first, but she will be completely frustrated with them because they do not satisfy her needs.

I said the same thing when a boyfriend and I broke up. Yet, I never chased after any girl or had any experiences, because I am not. I don't think there is anything wrong with being a lesbian, what people do with their life is their business, and it is certianly not mine. I would be there as much as you can for your friend. It sounds like she is going through a hard time and needs friends right now. You don't have to understand her reasoning to be supportive of her.
