On Prequels: Star Wars vs. Star Trek  

Well, I've never saw the Star Trek prequel, however I did watch the Star Trek series. I've seen the Star Wars movies, and I think they are pretty good. But, I prefer Star Trek TNG over everything lol..

Well other then whiny Anakin and damn Jar Jar I loved the Star wars prequels. They were great. Im also a trekkie and was dead set against seeing star trek, but when tons of people I knew who had said the same thing went and saw it and came back and said it was actually good I gave it a chance. And I like it, but you can NOT compare the two universes at all, they are so different.

I agree,the acting in the Star Trek reboot was phenominal while Haden Christansen's acting could put coma patients out of their misery.
I'll watch the Star Wars Originals cuz I love them to death,the prequels will only be watched for certain key parts or characters(Jango Fett,especially in EP. II and,what became the point of the prequels,watching Anakin burn and Vader rise from the ashes).

I loved the 'alternate time-line' plot of Star Trek,it was well written.My favorite characters were without a doubt Simon 'Shaun Of The Dead' Pegg as Scotty,Chris 'Smokin' Aces' Pine as Kirk and Karl 'Bourne Supremacy' Urban as Bones McCoy.
And watching Kirk actually beat the Kobiyashi Maru was awesome.

So if i were to pick,I'd prolly still watch either one,but I'd enjoy Start Trek more.
