I admire him because he can expertly act out his roles whatever character he is in and he is one of those actors who aren't afraid to take risks in what he does. Sadly, hollywood does not base solely on talent to consider which actor/actress is the most valuable. If you can actually see, the independent film industry actually has better actors/actresses than hollywood per se. I think johnny depp is one of those actors who really deserves to be known for his talents because actors like him are really hard to come by.

heath ledger
emma thompson
that's it for now. a bit short but they are on top of my list. there are still others but i'm still thinking if they are as great as johnny depp. | |

These are Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Will Smith all of which have a strong track record when it comes to star power. If I had to pick one, and sorry all Johnny Depp fans, I would go for Will Smith as in my opinion he is able to play the more emotional roles better than Depp, where as they are equal when it comes to any other sort of role.
