well, ok, maybe the next ones after 'your fired'...what are they? GARBAGE STRIKE! its like 103 degrees f in the shade and the city of Toronto (Canada) has got a strike goin on...no public pools are open, no city daycare and to top it off, the garbage collectors are on strike too. they have drop off points for household garbage, but the picketors are not letting anyone get through. what would you do if you had a garbage strike where you live and have you ever had to suffer through one?

Thankfully I haven't. I can imagine it gets pretty bad...especially in the city. I guess if we had one here, I could always take our trash out to my Moms farmhouse (it's outside city limits) and let her burn it. Not good for the air but better than letting it pile up in the apartment. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

How awful it must smell something cronic.we had a dustmans strike about 20 years ago in England ,I washed all the tins ,started a compost heap and incinerated the rest the strike lasted about a month and from what I can remember it was awful. It had been 90 degrees in England this week and our bins are emptied and it still smells. My heart goes out to you.just keep rat poison in the house up high because of the little ones.Mice traps and ant powder.Just hope it does not last long, probably doing it this time of the year to show these councils just how important they are to the community, sometimes these councils look down their noses at public workers and think they are daft but they still have to pay their bills like everyone else.
