Family reunions are coming up........ Got any good ideas to share?

Hey friends, it's just about that time of the year for families to all start getting together. Well i would like to know what do you all do to help celebrate your family. I"m trying to get some ideas on how to help make our next family reunion a blast. But I still want to keep the cost down so that it isn't a strain on any one person's wallet. So let's all share some ideas everybody. I"m thinking that ours will be in August. Do you have any really good recipes that you want to share, if so feel free to share it. Have anybody had any really good rice pudding lately? Yummy! OH, let's just talk about family and being close to one another. Is your family all close or is there a few loose screws in the batch? Lots of loose screws and not enough money that a lot of them can afford to travel, and we're split between the East and West coast. It's really THEIR turn to do one, or perhaps my cousin Stephen who lives in Missouri. He's the closest to being centrally located. I'm not so much on recipes, but maybe find a location that's near something fun or worth seeing?

Why not have a barbeque? It will be nice weather, they are cheap and cheerfula nd they seem to make everybody happy and then it will not be too formal either. Unless formal is the thing you are going for then I cant help Im afraid! Hope this helps!!
