Aww, I'm sorry:(
Yeah, I love Disneyland. That I can remember, I've been to the actual theme park part of it, twice: 7, and 16 years old. I might have gone a couple of times when I was like 4, because I remember going on It's a Small World, but don't remember anything else. I've been to the other parts of it (Downtown Disney, around the hotel, Goofy's Kitchen, shops, etc.), many times.
I never liked (nor was I allowed:P) to go on fast rides, so when I was little, we went on some rides that took us through like a bunch of Snow White sets, and jerked around a little. It was dark in the ride, and the Donald and Daisy hats that my nephew and I had got, glowed in the dark... it was pretty cool. We also went on It's a Small World, that time, too (I think we got stuck for a while, also... got kind of scared that me or my nephew would fall in the water and get crushed by the parts you sit in:P). I took lots of pictures in It's a Small World... I loved all of the dolls. I don't remember much else from that trip, except the Mickey shaped balloons, lollipops, and the stocked mini fridge in our hotel room lol.
When I was 16, we lived here, so no need for a hotel room. We were at Disneyland for like 10 hours... ate lunch, bought chocolate, candy, and candy apples, went through a cool futuristic walk-through exhibit, went to the shops (bought some stuff), went to a few not-so-fast rides (my nephews went on faster ones), had dinner, bought hot chocolate, and got some of those light-up necklaces and sticks. They had man-made snow falling and fireworks, late at night... which was pretty cool.
I'm sorry you didn't have any fun:( It really can be a fun place. And I'm sorry I wrote so much; I didn't intend to:P
