Future  | |  Did you ever get the sensation that you've been through this day or a particular action before? Something like a deja vu. As an example, I was placing my wedding picture up on the wall. I immediately recall this action (made me think it was from a dream) about 2 or 3 seconds before. It was like someone paused time and showed me what will happen in the next 10 seconds or so in my head then hit the play button. I found that i knew exactly what will happen in that few seconds. This deja vu happens to me on average 3 times a month. Sometimes i knew that i dreamt the future some years ago, i wouldn't know until that critical 3 seconds. I tried to do it differently, but have no control over it because i usually see someone else action instead on mine and the time is too short to change anything. I've talked to my friends but they claimed they don't have this sensation. I hope my description is clear. I'd really like to know this is a common phenomena.

Is it called reincarnation? You are born in this era, but you still keep the memory from last era. Or it's like nigolas cage's movie, in which he acted as a guy who can fortell things will happen in next two minutes?

| yusufcarlos (23) | 5 months ago | Hello Mermaid. I don't really believe in reincarnation and I know the movie you mentioned. I think it's called 'next'. To me reincarnation is like a spirit recycle bin. Imagine a spirit entity. Every time a baby is about to be born, a part of the spirit separates from the entity and enters the body. When the body is dead, the spirit rejoins the entity. This way the entity have a collection of memories or lives which may be passed on when it splits again to go into another body.. Then after some time the body may remember something that the particular spirit went through from another person or time.
Have you ever read Stephen Hawking's - A brief history of time? When I read this, I almost came up with an explanation to the question i posted. He explained about the big bang and the big crunch. The big bang is where our universe birthed itself from a singularity point like a sun's supernova, everything within that points spilled outward and kept expanding until now. After a long time, black holes appears all over the place and the universe starts to shrink into its original position, a singularity point (i'm not sure Hawkings explained about this in the book, though). My theory is that the big bang and big crunch is a cycle, a loop or moebius. The loop goes like this, 1 - Singularity point, 2- Big bang, 3- Life (that's where we are), 4- Big crunch (some may call this actual judgement day, i guess. Humans may not be on the same planet anymore cause our sun has a life expectancy. That means when the sun dies, earth will die too. So, humans will eventually have to migrate to another planet. It doesn't matter where we go everything within that universe is crushed into that singularity point anyway), and 5- back to 1. So in essence we're stuck in a loop, destined to do the same thing over and over again. I found that theory too depressing and decided that it's not true:p | |

1. Did you dream it or did you day dream it?
2. How much lead time did you get? e.g. I could only recall my 'future' dream two or three seconds before it actually happens.
3. Did it happen exactly as you've dreamed?
