Ever feel so close to a music star you admire that you mourn when they pass?

Even though I never knew him in person, never saw a concert or anything like that, I used to listen to and watch Michael Jackson's talent whenever possible...from the time he was a child until now, it is as though you know someone and have admiration for them and compassion for their sorrows nearly as much as if you knew them as a friend in person. The same with Farrah Fawcett. So strange a feeling that they passed away on the same day. Makes me feel so sad! Have you ever felt this kind of closeness with a star you admire? Karen

Hello my friend PeacefulWmn9 Ji, I do understand your feelings, but I felt like same thing, when two of our silver-screen actors passed away, Raj-Kappor and Ashok Kumar. They were great masters. God bless You and have a great time.

Hi Karen! I was also a fan of Michael Jackson and I loved to listen to his songs in the yesteryears. I liked all his songs and it is difficult to single out a song. He was a magician and wonderful singer with so much variation in his voice. Once he came to India on a tour and his concerts were huge hits with Indians.

Yes, Karen, his ensuing tour to relaunch himself was widely awaited and many around the world were looking forward to his come back tour. Alas! that could not be possible. I feel thate he will be long remembered for his unique innovation and making the music 'visual' with his extra-ordinary techniques like moon walking. Thanks for appreciating my response.

It is awful that we lost two amazing people in one day. I have always been a believer that God calls his Soldiers home when he needs them. It is never our choice when someone is sick when they live or die. I really wish it was. With Micheal Jackson I think that was a total surprise to him if he could come back and talk about it. I know his family is in total shock at what happened just like the rest of the world. But with Farrah we were prepared for what was coming. We knew she was sick. We were waiting unfortunately for Farrah's passing. We just were happening it would be further down the road. I have lite two candles for them so their spirits can see the way to the to road to the house of the Lord.
