For a while ago I started a discussion about our new familymember. Now, she has been with us for almost a month and have adjusted well into our family, me and my son. She has a special personality - calm and a very nice and friendly pet for my son. We have meet other dogs to and she has behaved as a dog should, nice and friendly. She is easy to have around. And I am really proud of how nice my son has taken care of her so far. Now, it is not easy to take over some one elses pet and I was a bit worried about it. But it has shown be very much ok. Now, would you consider taking over some one elses pet. It would nice if you like to share your thoughts thank you

tacos - tacos lying down in a car tire
that's great that your dog is behaving... mine is so aggressive, we are considering hiring a trainer but it would cost me $4 per week, that is for 2 hours only. yes we have adopted a dog, she was given to us by the neighbor of the owner because she was abused. i named her tacos, she was always beaten for no reason at all. so their neighbor took her and rescued her and gave her to us. we have two dogs now. tacos is the one who is really behave and no stranger can come inside our gate because she bites. she's very protective of our house and my kids. that's tacos in the picture i uploaded here.=)

Jayrene, long time no seen. The time zones do not match and we are in different places. I like the pitcure of your dog. But I get upset when I hear or see people hurting their pets. This is important animals for family, and its members. I usually watch the program on TV about the animal instructors from Houston and SPCA. And organisation who rescue animals from any kind of abuse. It is so hurting to see how people can handle their pets. Really nasty and hurting. Lucky for some animals that there are people like you and me in the world.

She looks like a great dog. I adopted a dog from the animal shelter, I was told it was a stray but everyone I know has a hard time believing it. It is the most loving dog I could ever find. So, yes, I could end up with someone's else's dog.

It has been over two month now since our little new family member have come to live with us. And she is absolutly adorable. I love her, she is so nice and listen well. I have noticed the last week that her fur have changed from flat smoth hair to fluffy and longer hair. My son said yesterday that she looked like a lion She has her eyes on us 24 seven. And it feels most comfortble.

Thanks for the best response, and I bet your dog is looking good now that she looks like a lion, and I bet your dog will be protecting your family 24/7 and well your puppy knows she is loved and cared for and will do the same for her family too.

Yes, I would. And I have. I was blessed that the dog was such a sweetheart. All he wanted was love, and I had a lot of that to give! : )

well, putting any pet to sleep is hard and tough, but sometimes it is the best for them. They are not so speakble about their pains or bad issues...so if there is nothing to do with them, the best thing is to put them to sleep.

Obviously, you really like your pets and you called them as your family memebers. well, I couldn't agree with you more, pets always bring lots of fun to us and maybe they could be our good friends or even family memebers. so it is the right thing that we should take them seriously and get along well with them happily.
