This years holiday. China, Laos and Thailand.! Anybody been to Laos? |
|
Hi folks, After a lot of thought and detailed research I have finally completed my plans for my four week Asian holiday in October. I will start in Beijing and at last see the Great Wall. Then on to Laos where I have never been before and have heard very little about it. Anybody been there? Was it nice? Any problems? The final two weeks will be relaxing in Hua Hin in Thailand a country that I have visited several times and really like. Grilled tiger prawns in garlic sauce! Really looking forward to it. I attach a picture from my holiday last year when I spent some time in West Papua. Absolutely beautiful and very interesting. Well worth a visit!

Colmuc (377) | 6 months ago | Hi Lakota, I feel I have to travel while I still can. I have never been to Canada or Mexico. Canada is still on my dream list. I would love to see the Rockies and go fishing on a remote lake. Maybe next year! Thanks for your response.

Lakota12 (16892) | 6 months ago | Yup Rockies are a plus to see. I havent been up and down the whole range but have been in alot of them in Colo, Idaho, Monntana, Arizona oand New mexico. Not much big rockies in Texas tho they do go on down into So. America but have different names on the ranges.

3. greenline (4173) | 5 months ago | For Laos, I was only at the Vientienne International Airport transitting to Bangkok. I have been to Hua Hin twice too, very much enjoyed relaxing on the beach. Then I went further down south to Phuket. That's another lovely beach resort many tourists love to spend their holidays. If you haven't been there yet, that's one place in Thailand I would suggest.
