Well I never ever keep my cell phone switched off in 24 hrs. it is always on, but today as i was going out, it started raining heavily and my cell phone got totally wet, when i removed it out of my pocket the water was dripping out of my cell phone and the display was off, i was so disturbed to see that scene......it is still not working.....
I will probably give it up for a repair to see if it works.....
I had lost my brand new Nokia music express phone last year and now this phone is gone as well I suppose......
Has it ever happened to you, like some one stole it, it fell and broke, you left it somewhere, slipped out of your pocket.......or anything like this......what was your immediate reaction????
Did you panic????
Do you give it up for repair or you bought a new one????
Sorry lots of questions, but people who are really attached to their cell phones will know what I am talking about!!!!

I dropped my cell phone in some water in the parking lot outside the mall one time. I had gone to the mall to walk and the cell phone I had at the time had a timer on it. I always used that timer to help me keep up with how long I had been walking. No, I didn't panic or anything. I didn't have any music or anything I wanted to save on the cell phone. I'm sure I had friends and family's phone number, addresses, etc. Anyway, I was lucky that there was a cell phone store in the mall and I just went in there and asked them what to do. They said that I could just take the battery out of my cell phone and let it air out overnight. I did this and it worked out great the next day. All of my contacts were still on the phone, too. Another time, I lost this same phone while I was out riding horseback! I usually used my timer or the clock on my cell phone to help me keep up with how long I had been riding. I kept it in my cell phone holder, which had a strap attached to it so I could wrap it around my saddle horn. I looked down at one point and noticed it was missing! There's no telling how long I looked around in that pasture trying to find it!!! I never did find it, though. It's hard to find anything you lose in a pasture, even if the grass has been cut. The guy who came out to give my horse the flu shot (yes, there is a flu vaccine for horses, believe it or not. Veterinarians especially recommend it for older horses)found it a year or two later!! By that time, I had already bought a new phone, though,
lol. My old phone wouldn't work any more, anyway. There's no telling how many times it had been rained on and possibly stepped on by a horse.
I recently got a new cell phone here lately. I had called at&t not too long ago about my internet service and the woman I talked to said that my cell phone was eligible for an upgrade. She said that I could get it free of charge for a limited time so I took advantage of that!!! It's a nice phone, too. This one will take pictures and make videos. My old phone wouldn't do that. I even got a picture of my horse (not the same horse I rode when I lost my older phone) on it to use as my wallpaper. Kathy.
