Well Bush can't be President again because Presidents can only serve for 2 terms which is 8 years. Since we,unfortunately, had him as our President for that long, then thankfully we will never have him again. I think my wording already shows how I feel about him

I think that it was because FDR was elected four times that they brought in the two terms rule, so no, there is no way that GWB can return as President.

That said I would anticipate that the Republicans will have turned the page on this by the next election and start talking in terms of "Small Government" again with an emphasis on cutting government expenditure and getting deficits down. This wasn't really Bush's stance.

Yes for sure Bush gave the US a bad name. He was the worst President in my lifetime as far as I'm concern. He will never be President again and to be honest I don't think he would want the job again.

You have some great responses already. I agree taht GW Bush caused great harm to the US, our reputation and good will around the world. It will be interesting to see what he does for the coming years and what good he can do - - maybe an international peace center like Jimmy Carter or a foundation as Clinton has.

He has the opportunity to be of service to his country and the world. Americans always believe in second chances, but I doubt he will rise again in politics in the US.

Bush did not spoil the country. He let the people of this country destroy themselves. He didn't "protect" the citizens like many expected he should have. But we are ultimately the ones to blame for our own demise.

George W. Bush put the safety of his country before his popularity. Bill Clinton but his popularity first. Many countries don't like Bush because of this. Which do you think is more important for the person who is running a country, to put your country first or yourself?
