When I was in high school, I use to buy pocketbooks especially when I have nothing to do. I really love to read pocketbooks. It always brought me into a different dimension. Sometimes, when the story is about drama, I sometimes cry. And when there's something funny happening on the main characters in the story, I can't help but smile. I can still remember, before I graduated in high school, I was unaware that my pocketbook collection already gone up to a hundred. And what I did was, I give some of them to my friends, and the ones that I don't like the story very much, I just throw it in the trashcan. Happy posting everyone

I love reading them and still own many of my very favorites. Reading, as you said, takes you different places, puts you right into an interesting story. I exchange them with friends and family, and donate used ones to libraries or shelters for abused women.
Good discussion!

Yes, I read pocketbooks. In fact, I have two shelves full with pocketbooks. I have to read every day in my earlier days, but now with full time job taking so much time, I rarely get the chance, except when travelling. I would take along a few pocketbooks when I travel by plane, so I can use the time on the plane reading my favorites and enjoy.
Have a nice weekend !

yes i was hook into reading them when i was in college. sometimes i can finish three books in one day and at other times i dont go to sleep till i finish reading what i have started.
i buy pocketbooks at booksale, they are cheaper there. and sometimes i swap them with my friends. i was able to make many friends back in college from being a pocketbook reader. i dont have a choice in what i read, love story, suspense, or whatever, as long as it is in english i will read them.
i did have a lot of it when i had a family of my own. i gave most of it. but i did not throw away as it would be a waste if i just throw it away, i just gave it to whoever likes to read it and keep it.
