What are the tips about photography you want to share? |
|
I really want taking pictures. I almost have three thousand pics taken since I last year.
I want to share a good tip when taking pictures. Some may already know this. It is the rule of thirds. This makes a good photograph by putting the target/focus on a good place in the picture.
Wikipedia says: "The rule of thirds is a compositional rule of thumb in visual arts such as painting, photography and design. The rule states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections."
I've been taking pictures and this rule make good photographs.

2. vogue_article21 (105) | 6 months ago | My brother-in-law, who is also a photography hobbyist gave me a very nice idea in capturing photos. He told me the 4 by 4. You measure out the width and height 4 by 4. Consider taking the object focused in the intersection of both first square within the viewfinder. Hope you got it.

3. suspenseful (17125) | 6 months ago | That sounds good. Our digital camera has a little square in the view finder where you place the main focus of the picture and I have found by using that, I get some really good shots. I am better at candid shots and scenery then at formal photos. And I try to get the subject more in the center.
