FYI, paypal only accept visa card, be it credit or debit card. Better check with your local bank if the allowed payment through paypal. In my country (Malaysia), only a few bank accept payment from paypal. Even the largest bank here (maybank) did not accept payment via paypal.

I haven't applied in Paypal. I reached the minimum payout of $10 just now, that's why it's just now that gives me interest in Paypal. I really dont know Paypal that much as I haven't experienced transferring money or payment online yet. I am asking you guys, my countrymen, since our country is not listed in Paypal's country list. But actually, it's clear to me now, also by the help of other Pinoy myLotters. Yes I have a lot of email accounts. Like you I am also a government employee and I also have an ATM card, which is Landbank. I hesitate to give the number of my Landbank debit card coz I don't want any unexpected thing that might happen. I'm just being cautious. That's why my plan is to open an account in UnionBank, since most of the Filipino myLotters here are using UnionBank account, like you. You don't actually have to open a debit account if you haven't got one. You only need a card, either a credit or debit card, even if it's not yours. This is only needed to verify your paypal account. After you have verified your account, there will be no more time paypal would ask of it.

I also use my Lanbank account to transfer funds from paypal, and my unionbank debit account can disregarded over my Landbank account.

If you don't have a card, you can just borrow one, andyou only need its number.

Please check Paypal FAQ or Help Desk. It was stated there that you can only verify your account using your own Debit or Credit card. Verification means the information you used in your Paypal account is certified true by the details of the debit/credit card account you submitted. So how can a credit card owned by another person verify your account with Paypal? Doing so might lead to your account suspension.

I am definitely sure of this. If you just use the number of someone else's credit card, it will not prevent you from getting verified. Of course, the card should be active. Paypal will be requesting a certain amount from that card. And you have to wait for the statement of account of that card the when it comes. You have to get the information or whatever code it will be posted along side with the paypal payment. Then go back to Paypal and you will have to enter the code there. You will be a verified paypal user now.

After that process, paypal will return to the card holder, the same amount it requested before, while you are processing your verification. Paypal will not ask for the name of the card holder but only the card number. But of course, it would be better if it's your own card.

I get back to my paypal account, and here what it says about credit card: "Add a card to your PayPal account to raise your sending limit, withdraw funds from your PayPal account, use as backup funding, or confirm your address."

You can always add your local bank account to paypal. I have added or linked my two banks, Union Bank and Land Bank.

well you have till the 13th to the 15th of this month then you'll get paid, so i assume that you have set up a paypal account or used your bank for the money to go to....well done on reaching min payout....you will have more than that by the time mylot pay you...well done.
