Partying a Sin or Fun? | | Different cultures and different religion have different views about parting life... common people feel that partying is a relaxation and entertainment during the weekend following a stressful week. Do you think that partying is required once in a while for relaxation? Does it affect the youth minds? When parents put a wall to their children and be over protective, do you think the children will become rebellious. what would like to say for parents and young people?

Once we got out of our parents house, we didn't really feel a need to sow wild oats. I guess a lot of it depends on how much one is susceptible to peer pressure?

Also, drinking of alcohol is out of the question in people under 21. I think you can party and have fun without having those kind of things. I do it all the time:)

Parents: don't forget, you were young once. Kids: don't hurry growing up, once you're there, you'll wish you're younger again.=)

I mean if by "partying" you're doing hard drugs or being destructive or violent, then that's a problem. But most people judr get drunk, dance, and socialize. Big deal. It's just fun. And I don't think it matters that much if you do it young, either, depending on to what degree. I mean if teenageres drink, that's fine as long as they are in dangerous situations. I don't think having a little fun corrupts you or anything. I don't understand parents who are excessively protective. I mean you should keep your kid safe but they should also have some life experiences and an accurate sense of reality. It's ridiculous how sheltered and naive some kids get. I drank all through high school, and still do. My mom certainly didn't allow me but she wasn't overprotective so I got around it sometimes, and did other things too. I graduated high school with high honors and now go to a good college, so it evidently didn't mess me up. There is one problem, though. When my old best friend and I were younger, like 14 or 15, we hung out with some really shady people to be able to get alcohol from them. That was the worst of it- not the fact that we drank but the people who were in our lives for us to get it.

Parents have to have some type of "wall" for their kids, so they can figure out what's right and what's wrong, or what's too much partying, and what's just right. Take care!!
