Jesus Says Man's Value System is All Zero!  

The Pharisees, after hearing Jesus' comment on the impossibility of serving God and money, laughed at him because they loved money. Then Jesus said, everything man puts value on is worth zero in God's eyes. And he meant everything!

Even in churches, you'd see man's money value system reigning. The biggest and most moneyed churches are "blessed" and the small ones are tagged as "dying" or "not growing." What did they base this judgment on? From man's money value system. Thus, most pastors are working like crazy to have mega churches.

In China and other forbidden places, churches are poor with so little (if any) resources, yet they're anything except stagnant and dying. You'd see the churches in small groups meeting in ordinary settings.

Jesus didn't have millions for a ministry budget (as many churches and denominations today have)yet his ministry was anything but dying and stagnant.

What does the church put little value on? Small churches, small budgets, the unemployed (is there a church that has the unemployed in its roster of church board leaders?), untitled pastors (not titled with a Reverend or Doctor), pastors without degrees (everyone wants to have a masters degree, without which, no one would esteem you highly), and small-time church programs.

Well, believe it or not, these are the things that have worth in God's eyes. The Kingdom of God belongs to the poor in spirit. No one can change that Kingdom truth.

Lots of churches evangelize, not because they have the Kingdom in mind (though they claim to have that), but due to denominational expansionism.

My ideal church is one that actively evangelizes and disciples, using the Word given flesh in their lives, and yet remains "small" because they don't care to have a name. They remain anonymous and low profile. what is seen is Jesus Christ, not any denomination.
