Do you believe in human possession?

We watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose a few nights ago, and I started wondering about possession and the supernatural occurrences associated with it.
Do you believe humans can be possessed? "Who" possess them?
In the movie (based on a true story), she was possessed by 6 demons -- one of them was Lucifer. While it was a neat story and I liked the movie, it just didn't make sense to me. If Lucifer were to actually take over someone's body, wouldn't he do more than just make her behave that way (thrashing, cursing, freaking out). I'd think if the devil himself were to truly possess someone, he'd do a lot more destruction than to just the body he possessed.

Yeah when you think about it if a demon possessed someone it seems like they would go out creating havoc like murders and everything else. It doesnt seem like they would just be in the persons body causing them to act crazy.
I dont really believe in the whole devil possession idea. I think it makes for good horror movies but I dont think that its true. I suppose if I saw someone who was possessed and it seemed real enough to me then I would believe it. But without seeing it I dont believe it.

That was a good movie. I dont really believe all that stuff. Besides if the movie were true believing it makes you more prone to being possessed yourself.
