I often travel driving along highways from State to State. It certainly is very enjoyable when the weather is favorable. I really enjoy driving long distances, and make stops on the way when I feel like it. I would then put up at motels along the highways. Do you do that too when you travel driving along highways ?

Yes, I do. I like staying at hotels and being able to shower, sleep, and just rest some if I need to or not. Just stopping between one area and the other when traveling long distances makes for a safer trip. I have a good meal and make phone calls to who ever I need to and let them know where I am so they do not worry.

last year, we stayed in a hotel which was paid for by someone else, but typically, we dont stay in hotels when and if we travel. we just cant afford it. we try to stay with friends or family members if we have to stay over night.

I like to stay at hotels if I am travelling. I really don't like motels as they are noisier than hotels. It is nice to be able to get a hot shower and sleep in a comfortable bed. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Yes i used to stay in motels. I also travel from state to state and i stay in some motels at night time. I dont travel in the night time because there are many chances for accident in highways.

I do stay in hotels when I am traveling.I have to travel a lot and most of them are official...So the hotel expenses are mostly paid by the company where I am working..I have to do that as I have no way out.. But for vacationing I prefer holiday homes....

Excellent that your travels are Official. Very much the same. Most of my travels are business trips for the Company I am working for, and the expenses are taken care of by the Company. Wish you success and all the best !

Many years ago, we traveled a lot with my husband through the United States. We found many nice and very unexpensive motels in the highways. I don“t know if that has changed but then it was perfectly affordable.

Hello. There are many motels along the highways. Very good facilities too. I do have a number of favorites where I often stay on my travels along the highways. Some are expensive, but reasonable I would say.

We do that when we're traveling a long distance. The kids can't stand being in the car too long without stopping at a motel for the night. Plus it helps us get energized to finish the driving the next day.

Part of my job requires me to travel to some main cities in Asia and most of the time I am in a hotel or a company staff house. But I used to experience checking in a motel where no hotels are around. Less amenities than the usual hotels, but its just fine with me as long as they have hot showers and bed for me to rest and at least the place is clean and comfortable.
