I had the tv on while doing things around the house and Meteor: Path to Destruction came on, it has several talented actors Bill Campbell, Jason Alexander, Marla Sokoloff, Ernie Hudson among others. It is a typical disaster story, there is a meteor that after a impact in space changes direction and heads for earth, there are evacuations and various dramas, escaped convict(Michael Rooker as usual a great bad guy) and problems with evacuations, people that show their courage and other who show how petty/violent they can be. I missed parts of the story, so there were things that I am not sure about.
If you had to switch on the tv and the news of a possible collision from a space object was announced, taken that in reality if everything worked we would have several months to prepare, how would you react, what would you do?

Was this on a cable station? I don't get most of the cable stations, so I missed it. I like Marla Sokoloff; so I would have watched it if I could have. My preparation would very much depend on the predicted size of the event and what the chances of preventing it were.
