Do you want to have one baby only?

today, it is practically to have an only child,hehehe because of the crisis we're experiencing and everything is just so expensive! the advantage of it is you can have your full attention to your only child,unlike if you have two or more.. but for me,i like to have twins,so that in one delivery,i can have two kids in an instant,hehehe after that,i don't want to have another one.. C:

i admire your thinking about your child's future,as a parent,it is a normal thing to prepare all the best for our kids,it's your choice if u choose to have one kid my friend...about me,i had 3 kids, 1 girl and 2 boys....kind of a mess when they played around and noisy when they fight (laughs ) but,now that they have grown up from being toodlers to pre-teeners...i miss it, i miss everything about my kids when they are still babies ...enjoy being a mom my friend.

i have ment women who wanted to have as many as 8-12 kids.,but i even fear making a girl pregnant..i dont know why may be thats why i fear women too..but i hope to either have twin girls or a girl or a boy..only two are enough not one..please make another!

I agree with you. this time we all think practically. we will think of our kids future. one child is enough for me i guess. to have many children that's is good too if we think we can give them all good future. but if not one child is enough for a couple.

I do agree with you. basically you should give good upbringing and education to your single child let it be a son or daughter. You should ensure that he is given proper guidance in life.

Here is few things you can try:

1) On your only child invest give him good learning and secure his future
2) Have your child study for 10-15 years and you save money for your second child in 15 years. Be a late mother. till the time you need to invest on the second one the first will be nearly settled.

i totally agree with u. but i feel like i don't want to spoil my child. i want her to have someone she can always depend on besides us. so i want my child to have one brother or sister. but if they don't happen. i guess i wouldn't mind only having one child

I actually don't want any kids. For me I'm not going to be around to take care of the child and I believe that if you have a kid then one of the parents needs to constantly be around the child. I don't believe in day care or family members watching a child constantly throughout the day because both parents work at the same time. For me I think that if you want to make a commitment to have a child then you need to go into it full heartedly and be there for that baby.

But having one kid is fine - the population is rising so fast to begin with so I commend you for keeping the population down. Now I do believe the max number of kids should be capped at 2 because its 2 lives brought into this world for 2 lives that would be lost. All our issues are surrounded because of the population increase.

Well, I agree on the fact that everything is getting expensive and all that. And the economy is so bad right now. I think having just one kid is a good idea. I've realized that I don't want any at all, though. I don't even like kids.

yes i agree if you want to have the very best for your child and want to give hi all that he needs. there is nothing wrong with that.

for me i wanted to have four kids, but i had only 3 now because i have thyroid problem. i wanted to still have a little one when i reach that age of 40s. i did family planning, having my kids a gap of 5 years and six years. they do go in a public school its not the best but its just okay, they are both in star sections. none of them will be in college at the same time, i had planned it. while the other will be in college the next is still in high school, so i think we will not be having a hard time with their education.

I don't prefer to have only one kid. I think my husband prefers that because he says already the earth is loaded with a lot of human beings which is a lot more for earth to handle. Also, he says that there are lots of orphanas in the world who need to be taken care of. I feel it is a punishment for the child to have no sublings. I have a cousin who is the only son, he has a lot of pain.
