Say that you need not pay anything or an upfront payment will be refunded once you have managed to get another X amount of people to subscribe. But the things which most of these scams, oops there I go again I mean schemes, don't make clear is that when you sign up you actually agree to pay them an amount each month, which is usually mentioned in the small print of the terms and conditions.
My advice is that there are plenty of opportunities out there on the net which won't charge you a fee to sign up, such as many of the affiliate marketing sites and you would be well best to stay clear of anything which appears to charge a fee or doesn't make it clear what the fee is.
