Oh Jerz!! You just split a few of my ribs there..ROTFL!!
you asked......... what are country eggs?? I nearly hit the floor laughing
so hard, and thank God I've got my oxygen on...OMG!
Country Eggs dear friend are the best you can have to eat; WHY?
Because they have the best dark yellow/orange yolks, they are farm raised Chickens
they get to roam around outside, "free range" they are not penned up in a tiny cage
and eating chemically processed nasty feed;
These chickens are fed good corn, ( not chemically enhanced ) and by them being outdoor and
roaming around to eat what they want, the eggs have a taste and flavor that is unmatched
with the crap they sell us in the store;
There is no taste to the eggs we buy in the grocery stores, NONE...
The Eggwhites in them make the worst Meringue (IMHO) ever...
country eggs/the eggwhites make beautiful tips on your meringue, to get a decent looking meringue when I have to buy stinky store bought eggs I have to double the recipe just to try and get it to look pretty, and nice;
Country eggs, are well you just can't match them with anything, same with the "free range" chickens, THEY TASTE SOOOOOooo much better than that store bought crap, again its the chemicals and other inhanced crap into their food, its awful, I'VE been trying to get them to sell me some of their chickens to eat for a long time but hey I'll take the eggs
anyday, and the "free range" eggs that you Might find in your local grocery store is a joke too, an expensive joke..LOL! Save your money don't buy them..

Well, hell, if you'd called them "free range", I'd have known. The ones near us aren't "free range", but they are chemical free. Or, rather, the chicken farm near Mom's house. She'd always get her eggs there. Mr. Hurff showed me how they candle them to make sure they weren't fertilized. He also sexed the chicks, but I never figured that one out. I was way little.

Gee Whiz, I won't shoot you because I like you, I might help you shoot the computer. I have never used dial up, it would drive me insane in the membrane. I have my internet with the cable and I have my nerve thinking it gets slow sometimes. I wish you lots of luck and patience too.

Hey Jan, I just read one of your other responses about making homemade ice cream, will you give me the recipe. I have been wanting a good ice cream recipe. I have a machine and use the mixes, they are good but I want some ice cream that is yummy.

HI Polly: Well some days I wish someone would just put me outta my misery you know?
This afternoon I was ready to do some work on here and stupid adobe update started
and it was over two hours, so I just said screw it and got busy doing other things;
Absolutely you can have the ice cream recipe, just as soon as I find the darn thing
LOL!!
I think I just left it out at the farm with the ice cream machines, I was looking for it yesterday and couldn't find it, I nearly had a stroke...LOL!
But I know its out at the farm someplace, its a big recipe and we use two of the big ice cream makers when I make it...WE ARE HOGS when it comes to eating this recipe..(G)!
trust me, ITS THE BEST!!

My mom has the same thing because of her location, she can't get dsl unless she's willing to pay all the ridiculous fees of hugesnet which of course, she can't afford to. I don't understand why it has to be so damned high for it's satellite which is pretty much everywhere now a days. So she sits and waits once more for how ever long it may take for dsl to come to her area....

Hi Kathy;
I know what you mean I wasn't sure if our small town was gonna have them either and then yesterday all frickin day it rained and rain and rained and then rained some more
we had over 3" yesterday...GGEEZZ and COOL OMG was it cool out last night, VERY VERY CHILLY
for a 4th of July and it was still misting rain and that north wind is what made it
really chilly out you know?
Sorry they cancelled your all's going out to listen to the bands sounded good, God I've
not done anything like that for I don't know how many years...
We watched the fireworks last night right out in my front yard, the park where they set them off is only like a 1/2 block away from me if that far...LOL!
the last two years I lived across from another park the place I HATED LIVING AT...
it was a real sh!thole area, aka ( the hood ), now the fireworks there was really good
more so than what they shot off here but that's ok...IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH (g)!
But again it was the chilliest I can ever remember..
I invited a few friends over we had a really good supper I grilled hotdogs and BRats
in between the rain showers yesterday afternoon...LOL!! WE had a bunch of food,
My Dad came over to watch the fireworks;
It was really a nice evening I enjoyed it, I woke up with a major sinus headache though
from the rain and chilly weather you know? even now its 12;11 p.m. and its only 66 degree's outside...FOR JULY...FREAAAAAKKKYYY!!!!

Hi Jan! How is your dial up doing now? I hope it's doing better.
No, I don't have any plans for the 4th. I wish I did, though. We usually have a fireworks display at the old airport every year. Bands would come out to play and I always enjoyed that. They (the city of Jasper) decided to cancel it this year due to the recession. There was an article about it in our local newspaper. Our mayor is very disappointed, too. Maybe we'll have it again next year. It will depend on whether the recession has let up or not. I could always see the fireworks from my patio. The old airport is just right across the woods from where I live. In the last few years, I've been going over there to watch them because I like to hear the music. There was always one band that played oldies. Another band would play songs like "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Freebird". They would have other bands to play, too.
Maybe I will go out to eat barbeque somewhere. It will depend on whether any restaurants will be open or not. I know I did that one year. I know I am going to have watermelon
. I bought one at the grocery store today.
