If you have enough power, will you place a ban on smoking in your country?  | |  Smoking is harmful to both the smoker and the surrounding people. Nearly everyone agree. But still many people smoke and some of them become addicted to smoking. I don't hate somkers, I hate the tobacco companies. Now many countries have placed bans on cigarette advertising. But many tobacco companies still advertise their logo on TV, Post,etc. I think such a ban is no use. If I have enough power, I'd like to place a ban on smoking, I will weed out all kinds of tobacco companies. If there's no tobacco in the world, it will be better.The most lousy saying is that "look, how much taxes we(tobacco companies)have paid to our country". Do you hate the tobacco companies, and will you ban on smoking if you have enough power?

If i get the power then i will obviously dont ban it completely but i will ban smoking at public places like schools,hospitals,etc. I will see that what are the reason that people start smoking as no one do it from birth and its not a genetic disorder. Our environment make it so. I will spread awareness among people about its harmful effects.

Did you know people can get cancer and other even if they never smoked in their life. Plus today with so many unemployed just think of all the people who work in the tabacco industries would be unemployed and then not to mention the taxes where would that come from with the way things are today and if there was no cigarettes your gonna to have people with withdrawals and maybe even more crime no matter what people who are determine will find a way to keep smoking just like drugs and other things. I would ban ciggarettes if I felt it was safe thing to do
