 I have a personal account in paypal and I have received a lot of payments in my paypal account.Paypal never charged any fees for receiving any payment.But,the last time when I received one payment I was shocked to see that paypal charged me 39 cents as fees.The fee may be less but still I want to know the reason of taking some fee.Can anyone tell me what is the reason that they are talking this fees from me?

It occasionally takes 1~2% of the transaction as a middle man fee.
Thats how the website earns money.
However, the amount taken is most probably minimum,, Unless you are dealing in the thousands.. then probably it will be more expensive..

| 3. zhorak (232) | 6 months ago |  Have you promoted to Business account? I know that personal accounts doeasn't have any fee for recieving or sending money between paypal accounts. But if your account is business type, then there is a fee something like $0.25 +%x (I don't know the amount)

they charge a fee for processing the request for funds and the depositing of them into your account. that's two fees.
