My friend paid $150 to fix his lawn mower, what a rip - off!

A friend of mine told me that, he just spent $150 to fix his lawn mower. I said, "what?" you can spend the same amount of money, and add $50 more to get a brand new one, and a better one. He was got rip - off. He didn't know that it cost that much beforehand. When he picked it up from the shop, they charged him that much money. I told him, he can simply leave it to them, and go get himself a new mower machine from Home Depot.

that does sound like a rip off, but why didnt the shop tell him what they were going to charge that way he may have decided to not pay it.

wow u can get a used one for about half that price. i can't believe that he would of paid that. poor guy maybe he learned his lesson now. come to u for advice.

prob not the first time he got ripped off, if i was him i would have just left the lawn mower at the shop and gone and bought a new one.
