 To be happy money is everything. If you think I am wrong, please send me some of the money you have. It will make me very happy.:-)
What else do we need to be happy? Second is family. But family must be supportive and nice. Otherwise your life is hell.
Third thing you need to be happy is to be happy. Trust me this is the biggest secret. Try this, to be happy just be happy all the time. It will become your habit and you will be happy ever after.

Many things can not be paid with money, such as self esteem, dignity, independence, feelings, etc..
Many people have suffered after a lot of money.

I have discovered long ago that people are notoriously fickle and depending on them for my happiness is something quite unreliable and ultimately, foolish. Relationships are the only true way to happiness.
If you don't believe it just consider that you have all the money you could ever spend and lived alone on an island. What good would that money do you then?
Many people have spent their whole lives in the pursuit of more and more money only to find at the end of their lives they are not as happy as someone that has loving family and friends and very little money.

If I have lot of money, I will certainly not be living alone in an island, I have lot of people surrounding me becuase of my money (nothing else)
Even your own relatives loves you if you have money. If you don't have money, they will try to stay away from you. Ever tried to borrow money from a relative? | |

What you need to have is the contentment. With a billion dollar too you might not be happy and with mere 100 dollar i would be happy. it depends and thus difficult to universalize the theme.

I was just watching TV yesterday and they were talking about this one guy who since he was little was dreaming to build a castle. he ended up being diagnosed with some psychiatric diagnoses, not sure what, and got a pension. he is now using al the money to build his castle. people are also donating money to him to help build it. looks good so far... he takes rocks and uses cement to keep them together. he is very happy, he does what he always wanted.
I don't have much money, but i'm very happy, i have the love of my life, and 3 furry friends. it's more then enough to wake up with a smile on my face every day.:D

Will your extended family(except mother and father) love you if you were broke. Would your wife continue to love you, or your husband. We are currently working on making our life as independent of money as possible. in a year or so we will only need a few hundred per year to be happy. | |
