Troy and Gladiator!!!

I reckon Troy Is much better than Gladiator.

While I think Sparticus or Ben Hur are better films than either of those, if I had to pick one it would be Gladiator, because I disliked Troy very much. Helen of Troy the TV movie was better than Troy with Brad Pitt. They didn't really follow the legend at all in the Brad Pitt version and as I very well verse in Greek and Roman Mythology movies that ignore the original story tend rankle my ire.

I didn' wtach Troy beacause I can't stand Colin Ferrel, but I have heard that it is a good movie.
I personally like Galadiator because it has a very moving Story, excellent Actors (can's stand Russel Crow eighter but I loved how Joaquin Fenix played in this movie), and above all an EXCELLENT Soundtrack!
I love every Song Hans Zimmer composes, and I think he really captured the essencs of the Story.

GLADIATOR all they way! In my opinion it's a far better movie than TROY. The acting and whole scope of GLADIATOR was very exciting, on the other hand TROY was a bit empty and lacking in character development.

Troy was good, but not brilliant, i don't think it even compares to lotr, rotk. Brad Pitt was brilliant being the dark worrier, but then having that really caring side to him, which was really touching. Eric Bana played his character really well, this film has shown his potential as an actor (In the hulk, he was good, but the movie wasn't all that, so it let him down). The fight scene, the ships at sea - visual effects and landscapes, were all spot on, its just that i think the story, the myth it wasn't right. When the movie had finished i was thinking, why this, why that. The story in the movie, didn't follow the myth of troy. Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and of course fittie Orlando bloom were excellent, they played there characters well.

AS u mentioned both are d best movies..it not fair to compare them..as both have different tunes in them.Troy is basically a war movie...it includes politics,deceit,powerplays n all dat.But gladiator on d contrary is more d story of family man forced into being part of d power wars.I personally think Gladiator is a classic..far better..as d emotions ingrained in it are more strong and subtle.It potrays the story of a slave towards becoming a hero...whereas Troy depicts d wars of the heros.

yup GLAdiator is far tooo good than troy dude.........the action sequences & the history talks about gladiator.........the main part is the scen wer the hero meets ceaser.......& after tht the king dies..........

Both Troy and gladiator are gud movies and we cant compare them....but i personally feel gladiator better movie than troy

I think Troy is better because of the massive battle scenes but I think that Gladiator had a way better ending.
