Do you choose kid's school because It more homework?

Homework is a part of school and I know in the states more and more kids are having more and more homework, there are not enough hours in the day for them to complete all they need to do and with the competition the children have and the things they have to do to be a success in life I can understand why they have so much. I am not going to like it when my children are of school age, as well I will have to help so much. but it is just a part of life and well school. I want my children to be a success so if that means they have lots of homework then so be it.

one of the problems here is that there are so many students that do not speak English and the teachers are having to spend more and more time with these kids to get them caught up to where the rest of the class is, resulting in more work going home with the kids as well the teachers just do not have time.
