4th of July Weekend  | |  What is your favorite thing to do over the 4th of July weekend? What are your plans? I went horseback riding and then to a park where I live that has rides for kids and only costs 25 cents to ride. That, I think is great considering how much everything else costs these days. We also went out to dinner after the kids got tired out at the park. That was yesterday, July 3rd. Today the kids are swimming and we will have a barbeque later and of course after dark, there will be lots of fireworks to watch.

My family has some traditions but thanks to the Great Colorado weather they were runined again this year. Usually we go to the race track out here that is like semi pro drivers like NASCAR, my grandfather used to race there so it is a big family tradition then they do a huge firework show. Instead we got to go to the local firework show last night for our housing development with my boyfriend sister, brother in law and the doggies. Today is a BBQ at my mothers house with all friends and family! It is THE BEST HOLIDAY!!!

| | 3.  hellcowboy (4861) | 5 months ago |  This is a really good discussion because I know holidays are really important when it comes to everyday life,because they are a good time to be with family and friends,and I know fourth of July is really important because it is a time to celebrate our Independence which is something no one takes for granted,and I am sure that different people do different things for the fourth of July,some people might have a barbeque,and others might go swimming,and others might just go see fireworks with their families,I like the fourth of July because of the fireworks and on the fourth of July me and my fiance came home from sitting with my great grandmother because she is ninety five and has to have someone there all the time,and then me my fiance and my parents had a hamburger and hotdog cookout about five or six a clock,and then we went to our usually spot to watch fireworks,and while we waited for it to get dark,me,my fiance,and my mother read from the books we were reading,which helped pass the time,and I swear each year the fireworks get better and better and the grand finale is always amazing,have a great day,good luck with your life,and all of your mylotting goals,and Happy Posting.
