When you like a song, do you play that song over and over again?

If I like a particular song, I would listen to it over and over without getting tired or being sick. I can eat the same food 3 times a day. I can be with a person that I like everyday. I can stay in my home that I like every day. I can surely listen to my favorite song over and over. I believe that if we like or love something, we will never get tired of hearing it!

When I like a song, I can listen it around 5-10 times and for a few days. But after that the feeling starts to fade. But after one or two months I feel like listening to the same song but not more than 2-3 times.

Umm.. about food, I can't eat same food thrice a day. About movie? I used to watch same movie 3-4 times when I was in school. But now, I can't watch any movie more than twice (unless it is exceptional).

After listening to a song for the first time, and I happened to like it, I tend to listen to it several times (maybe more than 10 times) until I am familiar with the melody and the lyrics. After which, I would include it in my "favorites" or "selections" in my ipod, then I would shuffle my songlist so it would playback songs in random.

There are movies that I also watched more than ten times but on different occasions e.g., Sound of Music, Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, Superman, etc. It really depends on my mood. Try to watch a particular movie more than once and I'm sure you will discover at least one scene or dialogue that you did not get or notice the first time you saw the movie.

One of my friends does this with his music. He will literally spend all day listening to just the same song until he can sing the whole song from memory. Then he stores it away in a playlist and keeps listening to it. I can't stand it, but he does it all the time. It just takes a special type of person I guess. Just really have to love music. And I could def eat the same food all day: PB&J. I lived off it last year in college. Pretty cheap too:)

If I hear a song I really like I can listen to it over and over again. I have my limits to how much I will listen to it. As for movies, when Star Wars came out in the 1970's "A new Beginning" I saw it many times. I was a kid and the price of movies wasn't too hard to come up with the cash for a movie. Now with the prices I have to plan for a movie.Food I can have the same thing if I really like the food. I have the same thing for breakfast about 6 days a week.Sunday is the day I will have something different but the only constant on breakfast is the coffee, I need the coffee. If I don't have coffee available I can have a Starbucks doubleshot in the morning and be ok the rest of the day.It comes down to if I like a certain song or movie I will purchase it so I can see or listen anytime I want.

wel!! when i like a particularly song, i always keep repeating it again and again. And i do have some of my all time favorites and which even after i keep listening to it, i don't feel bored by it. But my intensity will be less the next time round.
With food, i can get fed up easily especially if i already have my fill but if its some kind of sweets/deserts well!! i can go for some 2-3 rounds. With movies maybe twice but never more than that even if i like it very much.
But with somebody i am crazy about, i feel like i can spend eternity with him without even feeling bored.

When I tend to like a song I seem to listen to it quite a bit but not alot everyday. I usually end up making or getting the cds of songs I like but I switch around and tend to listen to all the songs I like enough but I dont seem to ever overdue it. It is the same with movies I am able to watch them over again but not to be overdone because then I will lose interest. I think everyone is different on how they go about something like that it all depends on the enjoyment.

yeah,if i really like a certain song i listen over and over again.the sad thing is eventually the song will get old lol. but yeah their is nothing wrong with that

There are two person in my life who does that...One of my sisters and my co-worker. My sister is not so bad as most times she'll lock herself away and do her thing but my co-worker nearly drove me nuts. So much so now I hate to hear when she starts playing that song "All My Single Ladies"

I used to enjoy hearing the song until she came along and started playing it over and over again. I repeat songs as well but nowhere close to how they do it.

I'm that kind of person too. When I like a song, I'll play it continuously, especially when it's a new song. I want to hear the structure of the song, the lyrics and the vocals. By then, I can remember the lyrics and singalong.
Now, I'm obsessed with Mariah's latest single 'Obsessed'. I listen to it numerous times everyday. I love her vocals, especially the adlibs and the background vocals.
