To me religion means that I should believe in what some one else is preaching to me, I must not stop for one moment and think of what they are saying makes any sense or not. It is saying that I should listens only and shut up or I will be sent to hell, just because I do not behave like a robot.

Hi cookiecrumbles, my avatar is the National Bird of my Country. I agree with you religion as presented is confusing. Nothing is wrong in believing something, what I don't like is when I am threatened if I don't accept one's ideology. Bearing in mind all we have to guide us is a messenger. I personally don't like to deal with messengers, by the time you receive the message it is all twisted and distorted. I think it is time to eliminate all these messengers and confront all on a one to one basis. If God does this we will have a better understanding of all things here on earth, and even heaven and hell.

religion is universal law..law of nature...with which everything is bound. For me there's no such religion as Christianity, Hindu, Muslim...there's only religion of human being, religion of animal, religion of plants, religion of water, earth, ...And it has its own character and governed by certain rule. human being has higher thinking than animals and are different and should be different than animals. One who doesn't act like human beings and act like animals...then one is following the wrong religion. Humans can think logically and live life peacefully.
animals are animals, they are wild, they cannot think logically. They are savage. But its their religion to remain that way.
religion of water is to freeze below zero degree and evaporate above 100 degree centigrade.IT flows from higher to lower level...

I agree ... religion is about how to practice love in real life in order to improve the soul. In christianity we even have a "distribution law" named "rule 666". It means, I have to love myself with 6 units .... and to love my family/friends/enemies/the whole world and creation with 60 units ... and to love my God with 600 units of love. Wherever I look, if I would have followed this rule I would have had less damage and more happiness.

Mine is basic " Do onto others as you want them to do onto you."A human should thrive to do the right thing every day. You should help others and respect everyone.
