1,000 bucks you mean 1,000 U.S. dollars??? That's a lot for an mp3 player. That's ridiculous for an mp3 player! You can buy a fairly good laptop for less than 1,000 USD! Maybe you should iterate what currency is this "1,000 bucks."

If you only want 1g... it won't be difficult to find. It won't hold much. But if you are really wanting to spend $1000 then you can buy a bunch of them and a little lap top to charge it with as well! I regret not buying a mp3 that will also play videos. I didn't think I would use it.. but I found out it would have been very nice to have!

JUst 1 gb for your mp3 players?i think you can check some and they are really cheap seeing that normally people look for more memory as regards the mp3 players!!so if we exclude one of the most xpensive as ipod there are also others that are functional so suitable for yoru needs!!i meant soemthing like zen from creative normally they are small size and the price is nto too much..or packard bell ones..they areally simple mp3 players with a simple display menu where you can check yoru tracks and commands!!
I think depending if you want one really samll or fuctional you can find of any form and sizes normally quite all hi-tech brands have a mp3 player in their range of products too!!I know that now it will coem out the new zune as mp3 player but i guess it would eb expensive compared to that ones i mentioned before!!

Forget mp3 player, you can get mp4 player for Rps1000(~20USD) at dealextreme.com
