Are you born with a silver spoon spoiled? |
|
So, do you think people who are born with a silver spoon are too spoiled in majority. I believe so. They were born with everything they can get; and they have no worries on financial source whatsoever. They only worry about their social status, and making more money. They less likely knowing the suffering of poor people. A vivid example will be our former president George W. Bush. Would you agree with it?

Being born with a silver spoon is not bad, it also falls on the parents shoulders to teach their children how privileged they really are and that there are poor people in the world. I will use the example of Princess Diana, she taught her kids that there are sick and poor people in the world, she taught her kids kindness and compassion. I am not sure how George W Bush was as a kid, but being a politician, he had to know there were poor people.

3. jamborieman (233) | 6 months ago | I'm an only child and a lot of people say that if you are an only child you are automatically spoiled. I can say I am spoiled but I know I am spoiled. There's a difference in being spoiled and not knowing your spoiled from being spoiled and knowing it. I know my limitations and I know that money doesn't grow on trees and you have to work hard to get things you want in your life.
Cheers! Take care!

4. dante_off (126) | 6 months ago | I do not know about George W. Bush but thats pretty much the case.
When born with no deficiency, handling almost everything at a premature age ruins the child.Manners, responsibilities, behaviour become aliens and it becomes quite distinguished as a loafer...generally...
But every rule has an exception!!!! I know someone from Silver Spoon family, a great guy, very good natured.....

| 5. mreducator (80) | 6 months ago | It depends on the parents of that person. Some parents have a balanced life-work-family thing, however, some are not. It really depends, but most of the time, under my observation, most are spoiled by their parents. I don't know, but they don't have any more challenge to think about because they can buy anything that they want. However, thinking in that manner will just make the person that he/she indeed can get what he/she wants, which is dangerous because not everything can be bought my money, like love, family, people, etc. Those people I think only think how can they place their names in the top millionaire's or billionaire's list.
On my part, I am not silver spoon fed, I am just a middle class person, which I think even if I don't have everything, I grew up well..

| 6. weebler76 (29) | 6 months ago | No, I think it's more about how you are raised. Some of the most humble and generous people I know are also some of the wealthiest people I know. I also know and even have family members who think they are doing well, but are one missed paycheck away from losing everything. Most of them are worried about status and money. It's usually the people who don't have status and money who worry about it. As for the suffering of poor people most people who are poor are poor because of the choices they've made. When I was growing up my mom was a single mother raising 4 kids. We were on food stamps, welfare and medicaid. Just a few years ago I was living in a crappy motel and walked everywhere I went becuase I didn't own a car. Now I own my own home, two cars and three businesses. I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful children who I am able to provide for. The only thing that changed was me. It had nothing to do with who was in office, the state of the economy or what wealthy people were doing. I realized that what I was doing was not working and made a change. I try to teach other "poor" people to do what I did. 90% don't listen. Of those 10% who do listen only 10% actually do anything with the knowledge and support I give them.

8. Glow1971 (215) | 6 months ago | There are very few people who are born with a silver spoon in their mouths who actually know and realize what it's like to suffer and have no money. They would never know how to survive in this world the moment their funds are taken away but at least the less fortunate can get by someway, somehow. I was never spoiled and i believe most people would love to have more money but I'm glad I have managed to do pretty much everything on my own and I'm very proud of myself.:)
