OK people I have a dumb question but I need an answer.

I have been wondering this since I have been working hard each day to get a certain qouta here. Is the cut off time at midnight or is it when they load the new balance each day for us? I have been told a few different things. I have been told it was midnight that is the cut off time but then I was also told that when they load the new balances is the cut off. If someone could answer this it would be great. So I know whether if there is a need for me to rush everyday to meet my qouta. I really like to be able to make my responses and discussions a great length but sometimes I start a response or a discussion around midnight so I am not sure if that is included in that days worth of work or not. So if there is anyone that would have the answer to this question that would be great.

The cut off time for the day is whenever they are updating your balance. For me that tends to be around 10am in the morning, which is nice because I can post all day and then some the next morning before they give me a balance for a day. Happy Mylotting! :-)

That is the time my balance is updated too...well most of the time. Thanks so much for your very much needed answer. You are such a life saver.

I have often wondered this. I sometimes wonder how much I am earning off my my work each day. But I always figured that I am getting paid for my time on here no matter which day it is credited, so I guess it doesnt matter.
Thanks for posting this question, because it was answered definitively! Now I can know a bit better how I am doing each day on my earnings.
I saw you are working towards Christmas presents. Good luck! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your earnings. Have you started shopping yet? Or are you still waiting until closer to Christmas?

Nope I have not started yet. I'm waiting till black friday. I figure it would make since because then we would be saving money.

I think it is later then 12 am but I'm not really sure. I heard at one time that it was at 2 am. I'm not really sure anymore though.At one time when I stayed online untiil after 2 am I did notice my balance changed. I'm not really sure anymore. I'm not as active as I once was.

See that is where I am confused. Because it seems that everyone has diefferent times that are what is the cut off. Alot of them says Midnight so I think I will go by midnight just to be on the safe side.

The cut off for earnings in a day is 12:01 midnight CST. The earnings are posted the following day as early as 8am and as late as 11am CST. It took me a while to figure that out, but when you've been around here for a while you get to know the flow of MyLot lol.

I am not really sure. I have had an update twice in one day before. Not sure why I did but I did. I look at it this way if I reach payout I am happy. If I do not there is always next month and I put forth a better effort next time. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

Very well said, I have gotten to where now I don't care about the cut-off time for many reasons. Like one of them people having different times and the next main thing is because it should matter just as long as I try to get payout but yet have fun doing it. But I really like your point.
