I was reading something like three pocketbooks of romances 25 years ago, when I was still a hopeless romantic. My daughters wouldn't touch my collection though. They have different preferences when it comes to reading materials. Anyone knows Mills and Boon? Are you reading these short romantic novels?

Yes, I used to read mills and boon way back.....let say 15 years ago.lol. It was the time (like you said) when I am still a hopeless romantic. I like the feeling of being able to find my one trus love by just reading pocketbooks (romantic). It makes me imagine that I am the leading lady of the story. It is like living in your own imagination and having a good ending. Thanks for this discussion, it makes me reminiscing my youth. lol. Happy myloting.

When i was a teenager and a hopeless romantic, i can finish off one book in 2 hrs straight. haha!! i still likes reading once in a while though but the story line ain't that good and too predictable.
Once i even thought of becoming a famous mills and boons writer. huh!

I had the same ambition. Why don't we try? We might become rich and famous.

One of these days I will reread my favorite ones... Lilian Peake, Rachel Lindsay, Janet Daily, and Anne Mather.
