Would you rather take a risk, or have a stable living?

A cousin of mine told me that she wants to move to the big city, and taking an opportunity over there. She asked me about my opinion on this matter. I knew that her mom strongly resist her idea, since she already has a stable job here. But she sees no future with it, even though she makes a stable living with her wage. Someone had hooked her up with a new job in the Big City, New York for this new job. It related to what she studied, so she wants to give it a shot. But she has to pay rent and far away from home now. That is her mom's worries.
From my personal opinion, she is still young, and she should see the outside world with discreet. I would encourage her to go and give it a shot. Failure or success, she has to experience it. Good luck, my cousin.

yes as you mentioned ....it depends on the situation.if you don't have any responsibility on your shoulders then it would be a good thing to follow your heart,if not it is better to act wisely.
there are other things like confidence in yourself..one must be able to understand his/her limits and act accordingly.
but this is life...no one knows where he might find himself the next day.sometimes you will have to take on the spot decisions.
if life was that simple you wouldn't have asked this question and i wouldn't have given this obvious answer..lol

I would rather take a risk,especially now that I'm young.I want to see opportunities that might help me develop my personality and skills.rather than locking myself in one place,I can learn from traveling other places.I would take a risk.this risk will make me wiser.

Its hard. I have lived in my hometown and I have never left. I want to leave and go to college somewhere away but I don't know if I can leave behind everything I have always known. I think I will end up staying, but there is always the possibility that I will leave. I will never know more than my hometown unless I do take the chance.
