lol Yeah, I cheated when I was a kid, or got others to give up there money. ha ha
Oh yes, Scrabble and Battleship are good, too. I haven't heard of frustration, except with life. lol:o) I will have to look the other game up. It is great to hear that families still play the familiar board games. I hope your day is great! Thanks for commenting!:o)

Oh, a computer one? hmm, I will check it out, and probably will play it, but still not the same, huh? I can't find anyone to play either. My honey won't play cribbage with me either. waaa hee hee not really crying. Kidding.:o) I like cribbage, too. lol That's funny.:o) So, you always win? I always did, too, but then everyone said I cheated. (I may have) lol Oh, yes, the kids have to win. I can remember the fighting us kids did, and there were 7 of us. My poor parents.

I am 39 years old now and i still love to play monopoly. IUt has been my favourite game since 12 years old. Now i am playing with my kids..it give me good reason to spend time with them during my weekends.

I do not like the Star Wars one...the original still the best. The lastest one is with Credit card, Bank with card terminal and Condominium. I would love to try that one. But sadly, my wife wouldn't allow me to buy that coz our toys room is full with my kids stuff. She got frustrated cleaning up that room.

Has anyone try that Modern Monopoly?

Hello all! I still love monopoly, too.:o) I will not try the newer versions of it. I want the one that I had when I was a kid.:o) Has anyone else tried the newer versions?:o)

I love Monopoly and play with the kids (nieces and nephews) quite frequently. No, I have not played the new version, in my opinion the original version is most excellent and I will stick with it for now! It is sad to see how many families have got away from playing board games, isn't it? I guess with cable tv, satellite, and computers, many might find these games old, outdated, or boring.

In our house, monopoly is still a favourite game. Cheat? Me? Never....

Well, almost never! Okay.....maybe sometimes!

It is sad that so many families watch just cable TV now instead of playing board games and having better quality family time. We just went without TV for about 2 weeks and we went to the library and got free movies. We watched Beethoven 1 and 2 so far. It has been good, actually. With Monopoly, I spoke to my nephews and they challenged me to a game when I visit again. lol They have the original version.
Yes, with so many new things now, even I am guilty. I play computer games at places like bigfishgames where I used to play cards and other games more. I have been trying to find an original Monopoly game again. The hunt is on for it.:o) lol
