I want to have control of the weather!!!

I have planned my wedding reception for saturday at our home, and now they are calling for a chance of rain. AAhhh. I really hope that it doesn't rain. I have spent so much time planning this, and now this rain is going to ruin all of it. I am hoping that it doesn't rain, and that we are able to have a good time. I am defiantly going to have tarps on hand.
Have you ever tried to plan a party or an event and you thought it was going to rain? Or has it rained? Do you ever wish you could snap your fingers and control the weather?

But let me just tell you. I got married 2 1/2 weeks ago. The entire week before I was watching the weather every hour and they were calling for 90% chance of heavy rain and strong thunderstorms. I was FREAKING out!! I seriously think it's what stressed me out the most that entire week. Come Saturday it did rain. But we were lucky and it rained at convenient times. The lighting ended up being PERFECT for the pictures. Apparently rainy days are better than sunny for photographers. The natural lighting is better! And all day long people kept telling me how it is good luck to get married when it's raining.
The day couldn't have been more perfect. Rain or no rain.
Believe me, I wished I could change the weather. But in the end it didn't matter. :-)
My fingers are still crossed for you. No matter what it will be an amazing day for you :-) And heck, have the tarps on hand just incase!

i hope and pry for you that it does not rain on saturday. ofcourse, i have thought about it many times that if i could control the weather, it would have been wonderful, but anyways. i hope that your function goes off without any problems. all the best.
