How would you feel if someone did this to you? My sister-in-law lives around 50 miles from me and called on the 4th to see if I wanted to go to her house to see some fire works so I went. Most every time that she asks I go, well the next day I was at home and around 4 in the afternoon she called the house and said "I just passed your house",she wanted to know if she was going the right way to get were she wanted to go. She didn't stop on her way past my house or on the way back. I just couldn't believe it, after all the times that I go to her house and she couldn't even stop in to see me. I tell you, it might just be a long time before I waste my gas to go back to her house again. How do you think that you would fill about this if someone done this to you? Do you think I'm wrong to be upset?

I can undertand that the situation made you upset and mad. It is quite normal. I would have felt the same if I were in your position. She could have visited your house. At the same time she might be busy, that is why she didn't stop. Anyway, please forgive her since she is your sister-in-law and you have a good relationship with her unless this issue.

I'm going to try to keep peace, its just the fact that she gets on to me for not going to her house every time she asks but she can't even stop at mine.

I would not be too upset. Try inviting her over, giving her a formal invitation. She may not have wanted to drop by unannounced. If she does not come over your house after you formally invite her then I would consider keeping my visits to Christmas and maybe every other Thanksgiving....lol. Trust me, it's not worth starting a rift in the family. Especially with the in-laws, they seem to be more touchy than blood family. Many Blessings to you.

Your right, I'm trying to think maybe she had a reason. The trouble is every time I ask her to come to the house she has an excuse.
