Children of Earth Miniseries

I was wondering if any of my friends on the other side of the pond watched part one of the Torchwood miniseries, Children of Earth. I just started downloading it, rather than wait two weeks for it to air in America, and wonder if it is any good or if I will be disappointed. So, if anyone watched it, is it any good?

my roomie is downloading it too and really, doesn't matter to us if its any good, its new TORCHWOOD and that makes it worth it!

I am at 45% and may get to watch it tonight! Then it will be time to download part 2, which airs tonight. I am just so impatient. I just can't wait!
