i have been a MJ fan from a very early age, i have grown up surrounded by his music and influence, i was genuinely shocked and devestated to hear of his passing. i feel so much empathy for those children and family he has left behind...Did anyone see the tribute yeaterday...omg i watched it on bbc2, i was in mi pj's with the tissues @ the ready...i knew it was gonna be an emotional one....i thought the celeb line up for tribute songs was pretty cool - Mariah being my favourite artist n all. i am still unsure whether displaying his golden casket was appropriate, and having his three children there felt like a bit much ... they should have been left to grieve in private methinks, MJ fought so hard to keep them out of the public eye as much as he could, going to extreme lengths to disguise them - so they werent thrust in front of an audience like he was..i thought the family undid all that when the allowed the children to sit for 3 hrs in front of their fathers casket , then allow them on stage to sing at the finale of the tribute...not to mention Paris Michael's few words of sadness...heart wrenching... but..its the guardians choice now....
