Any MyLotter that is infected or suspected to be infected with H1N1? I just came back from Phuket Thailand with my boyfriend. I know there are some cases of the swine flu there. We are now both have runny nose and some fever. Will go to the hospital tomorrow, hopefully nothing related to H1N1. How strict is the prevention and check up at the airport in your country? I'm sad that we didn't even get a check up at the border (we were driving). Do they only check at the airport and not the land border?

h1n1 virus - photo showing the virus that afflicted the whole world
Airport officials have been quite strict with manning the people coming to the country. But sad to say, the number of cases we have here have increased tremendously. Department of health have been doing everything they can. How I wish that the swab test would be free since a lot of people cannot afford to pay for the test.

So as I say, they are strict in the airport and not the land border. At the airport, at least you will be scanned or screened but not at the land border where they didn't do anything. It's frustrating when they say in the media and paper they already took all the necessary prevention acts but didn't. Because they only do the test and place medical staff at the airport while people travel by train and car to visit outside country. Guess we have to take care of ourselves.
