What do you like during the summer?

Do you prefer to enjoy the heat outside by tanning/laying out in the sun, or something similar? Or do you liek swimming in a pool, lake, ocean, etc? ... Perhaps you just like sitting in the air conditioning.
Sometimes it can get TOO hot outside and air conditioning is nice, but I like to do many things during the hottest months, such as take nature walks and swim, but I also do like sitting in a nice cool air conditioned room... What's your favorite way to stay cool in the summer?

I would enjoy going to mountain resorts, relax and enjoy the natural scenic environment. I frequently go to the Rocky Mountain national parks, when the weather favors. I could there do trekking, jogging, golfing, or just stretch out on a lakeside and relax !

I would love to stay inside an airconditioned room all day... but that would mean a large electricity bill for me... i don't like to tan because my skin is already brown... but i do love to swim in a pool or go to the beach... but when it gets too hot... i always wish that summer would be over soon...

Now that summer doesn't mean I'm out of school,I don't do that much.I stay in the air conditioning.When I was younger, summer went no school and living at the swimming pool.My friends and I would get to the pool early so we could be the first person in the pool.Back in the 80's ,summer meant a trip to the beach. But now,I work on Saturdays and that's okay because I don't want to swim or go to the beach. Now my favorite seasons are fall and spring.

I just moved into an apartment with an indoor pool, so I go swimming at least a few times per week. Other than that, I just keep a fan in my apartment window and a glass of ice water next to me. I've also started to actually enjoy going to the grocery store, because the store has AC!

I usually spend my time with my kids at the pool. Since we move warm everywhere we go its usually a requirement that some form of water be nearby. When we lived in Florida it was the beach once a week and the pool during the weekdays. Now that we've moved to Cali its the pool everyday and the beach at least once a month.

Except swimming, and enjoying nice view on the poolside, I don't find summer such an attractive season for me. I might need to turn on the air conditioner all the time, and I might spend more money for my gasoline. Oh, there is one thing I like about summer, the summer movies are always the best. That is what I enjoy the most.
