David Archuleta or David Cook?  

Carrie Underwood's music is great.I loved her song "Before he cheats" .Talked about the David's i think they have their own identity as a singer.They sang different types of music. I can say I love Cook better, his voice is so much of a man,very masculine.Kelly still rocks too, her voice and her song, oh how I loved Kelly Clarkson.

I like David Cook more. I love rock. :) I love his latest single, "Permanent".

And I guess David Archuleta is too young and pop for me, haha! :p

I do agree with you, too.. As for lasting power, it must really be Carrie Underwood. Also Kelly Clarkson -- she's the first ever American Idol and she's still in the charts.

i must say that when I first heard Archuleta sing Imagine on AI last season, I was blown away but then from out of nowhere came Cook! And from the moment he did a rendition of an old song from the Turtles Happy Together I was hooked on Cook! Week after week he took me places I never thought anyone on AI could do . . but he did .. and I must admit I was one of the mad dialers that voted him in.
As far as his new stuff. . I like his album . .especially the song Come Back to Me do I love this album .. not really but I think this album is just his warm up or at least I hope it is. . ..I am definitely looking forward to seeing more from him .. .

I like Cook more than Archuleta :D ..Seriously !!
I havent heard the album but i know cook's album is going to be way better than asrchuleta .That kid is talented maybe in future i ll like him but not now ,cause i heard his songs they are alright whileas david cook has something in his voice that dugs deep into the skin
I dont like Carrie underwood,maybe because i am not a fan of country music.I liked one of her songs which she sang in american idol but after a month it was throbbing my ears :S

I think both guys are talented and unique in thier own way.I have both their album.It's not for me to say if they would last as kelly and carrie but these two are great.
