Do you like to scratch rough or softer?

When my boyfriend has an itch he scratches it pretty softly, but I like to be more rough and dig in a bit more -- not to make myself bleed or torture myself, but I have to not feel like it's tickling either. When I scratch my boyfriend he always says I am too rough, and when he scratches me it feels a bit too light, as though it's not really helping my itch. How about you? What do you like?

This might sound nuts, but I like it when my hubby does what I call 'whispers' on my leg, while he's reading a book. Its just really light movement of his fingers on my leg. It makes me sleepy, but some people might find it tickling and irritating. He doesn't understand it, I tried it on him, and he hates it! Go figure...

Well, to put me to sleep or relax sometimes my boyfriend and I both like to softly "draw" on each others back and we call it "alphabet". LOL -- so I know what you mean to an extent, but when I have an ITCH, I like to feel it being scratched roughly.

So the man aint scratching your itch? I guess I like to make my skin change colors, when I have a mosquito bite it soon turns into a bloody mess, by then I've scraped away all the reason that makes it itch. Now when I'm scratching somebody's back I tend to be a little softer because that skin is more tender.

As long as some sort of clothing is covering wherever it is itching, I like a harder scracth. Like if it is on my back.
